5 out of 5 starsI’ve read several issues of this zine, and I’ve always enjoyed it. I relate to it, as the author discusses struggles trying to find way in the world. And also it’s fun, with collage style illustrations from cut out of Archie comics and classic children’s books. He really captured the feeling of Winter in Canada the first section. He has interesting things so say about music and creativity. My favourite part is tied between the ‘what’s in my computer’ section (it reminded me of the ‘what’s in my bag?’ meme) and the preview of his young adult novel, ECHO HEARTS. I hope he gets it published; I want to read the rest! If you’re looking for an interesting Canadian coming-of-age-in-your-30’s zine, YARD SALE has got you covered. Try it today! *jazz hands*
